In regards to the second coming of Christ, what is made of the description of the ensueing 4 kingdoms which would rise and fall in the middle east area prior to Christs return? J.B.Books64.136.48.201 20:51, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Postdiction cite

I've just added a cite for postdiction as it was uncited. But more citations would be welcome, it says "scholars" and I only added a cite to one scholar. I will add a cn tag as it needs more than one cite to support "scholars" in plural. I am not an expert on this, just was reading up on the passage and wanted to check what sources there were and found one for myself. Robert Walker (talk) 11:34, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done, as:

"Scholars[citation needed] who hold that this does refer to the Roman destruction of Jerusalem, and is an example of prophecy after the event, use this section to date Mark, and all works believed to have copied from it, slightly before or after the year 70[1]."
