3 children?

The article mentions him having 3 children. When was his third child born, and to whom? He and his ex-wife only had two children together. Josh (talk) 19:04, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Home page questionable

I removed the so called homepage. It reads very generic and has way too much advertising. The owner of the site is also the same owner of other sites listed on the bottom of the page. Seems like a hijacked page or it was never an actual page Statsone 03:03, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I question the neutrality of the article. The information seems based on the movie "Casino", based in turn on Rosenthal's self-flattering profile. For example, it asserts McGee "stole" Rosenthal's savings. It isn't stealing if his wife uses her key to the safe deposit box!

My understanding is Rosenthal had criminal convictions plea bargained from charges of fixing a college basketball game. Consequently he could never be licensed to run a casino or sportsbook. My Vegas industry contacts tell me he was never respected as a handicapper either. The old foof sells his picks at his website with no evidence they ever won. Why would a successful handicapper at his age need to sell picks?

Please modify the article to reflect Lefty was a criminal and hoodlum, not a real handicapper nor a talented business manager. I don't want people to believe the movie "Casino" and buy picks from this retired mobster. He doesn't deserve the money and he certainly doesn't deserve respect.

Is there a source for the Supreme Court / 5th Amendment story? It seems to me highly unlikely to be true since witnesses don't testify in front of the court. Maybe he did this at trial?

Read "Casino"

Mug shot

I went out and loaded a new version of Rosenthal's mug shot, which is larger than the one that was on here.

Regarding the picture, which one is Rosenthal and which one is Sinatra? The caption does not make it clear. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.237.243.216 (talk) 05:25, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adopted?

This guy wasn't adopted from Swedes. What a laugh.

If you could please sign your comment next time, that would be appreciated. On talk pages, it is proper etiquette to sign and date your messages. To do this, add four tildes (12.53.199.26 (talk) 20:41, 18 August 2012 (UTC)) to the end of your message. When you save the page, these will be converted to your signature plus the current date and time. The default "sig" is your username, but you can customize it in your preferences menu). To include your signature only (usually not a good idea), use three tildes instead (12.53.199.26 (talk)). Signing your posts prevents readers from getting your messages confused with those by other users; with the date/time stamp included, other users can follow the flow of the conversation.[reply]

If you could also restrict your comments to that which you know to be factual, and refrain from comments like those written above as it ads nothing of substance to the discussion. This is not a message board. (12.53.199.26 (talk) 20:41, 18 August 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Kansas City Mafia

This article seems to nonfactual in the actual control of the casino where Rosenthal worked. It is true Rosenthal had ties with the Chicago outfit. It was the Kansas City Mafia family who actually controlled the casino. Chicago got a cut of the Skim.

== Someone needs to check the information on this page. It states that he was married to Bea Arthur, who died. And that his casinos were run by the Teletubbies. I don't know what the correct information should be, but not this.

No where, is it noted, that prior to his marriage to Geri, Lefty was married to a Roberta Feiner who was from Miami Beach, FL. They married (later annulled) when Roberta was seventeen (17) years of age and lived for a brief period in a small townhouse in the Sans Souci area, just off of Northeast 125th St. ==

Steel Plate Under Driver's Seat

Here is a link to what may have saved Frank's life. It's near the bottom of the page under "Did Sam survive a car bomb assassination attempt?"

The quote is apparently from the NY Times. If someone wants to follow up and insert the reference in the article, there you go. Bill the Cat 7 (talk) 08:51, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
