Bendre (also Bendrey) is an Indian surname native to the state of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Goa.[1] Typically it is found in the Marathi Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu (CKP),[2] Chitpavan Brahmin[3] and Deshastha Rigvedi Brahmin (DRB) communities.[4]
