Surrey 5 was a level 12 English Rugby Union League. It was made up of teams predominantly from Surrey and south-west London. Promoted teams moved up to Surrey 4 and as this was the lowest level controlled by the RFU, there was no relegation. At the end of the 1991-1992 season, Surrey 5 was cancelled after just three seasons, with all teams automatically going up to Surrey 4 or dropping out of the league.
