images

Please stop adding unrelated images to every article. Random vehicles, ww2 photo to military units, why is this necessary? They often seem to also be formatted incorrectly, resulting in giant, page covering images, or superfluous duplicates. If its adding an image of a thing which has an image in commons but not in the article (picture of person etc), sure. But in the aforementioned situations, why? --Havsjö (talk) 06:38, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My bad Please kindly send the link to the article let me undo them Joy Ayara (talk) 09:09, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The image you added to John R. Countryman is nominated for deletion by the uploader. Not sure why it hasn't been deleted yet, but it is a non-free image and does not belong in the infobox. I found a free image to use further down. Thank you, Yoninah (talk) 11:59, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay Thanks for notifying me I will take extra care next time Do have a lovely day Joy Ayara (talk) 12:04, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please stop adding images to articles. These should be thumbnails rather than naked sized images, and they should have captions. You're doing this at a high rate of speed and most of your additions are not improvements. Moreover, why do you keep adding "#wpwp #wpwpng" to your edit summaries? This is confusingly unhelpful.Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 12:34, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also as a heads up, I'm about to undo what I can of these based on the above problems. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 12:34, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop now. I've just undone another one manually. There's a lot to be aware of when adding images to articles and your additions have been extremely problematic. It's very unusual for a new user to just come here and start adding images at high rates of speed like this; why have you been doing this? It is some sort of project or something? –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 13:10, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's a competition and the hashtags are required to make your edits count. I will go over the lesson on how to edit again Thanks for your notification If you don't mind you can show me how to add images I will really appreciate it Joy Ayara (talk) 13:36, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
