Bruce Hall (born 1953) is a legally blind photographer and parent of twins with severe autism.[1] Some of his work is stored in the Library of Congress.[2] Hall has stated that he takes pictures in order to be able to see the world more clearly.
Hall has about 5% normal eyesight and severe nystagmus. Fast accurate focusing is his number one priority,[clarification needed] and he uses many unique workarounds to achieve the ability to take pictures. Hall's favorite photography subjects are underwater photography, nature photography, and pictures of his twin boys.[3][4][5] He strongly advocates for awareness for the challenges surrounding severe autism.[6]
