F1 2002 is the fourth F1 EA game, published by Electronic Arts and released for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance. The game was based on the 2002 season.

Reception

The game was given mixed to positive reviews. Metacritic calculated 72/100 for the GameCube. 81/100 for the PS2. And 88/100 for PC.

GameSpot was reviewed by Amer Ajami, Gord Goble, and Frank Provo. The GBA version was given 7.2/10. The PS2 and GameCube were given 8/10. And the PC was given 8.4/10.

GameSpot also has UK Reviews of the PS2 and Xbox versions. This version is the most favorable GameSpot review for the game. This was given 8.5/10.

IGN was a little less positive than GameSpot on consoles but more favorable for the PC. The GameCube was given 7/10. The PS2 version was given 7.6/10. And the PC version was 9.3/10. Those were reviewed by Randy Magruder, Jeremy Dunham, and Peer Schneider.

PlayStation 2 Max was negative and gave it 43%.
