Corazón rebelde (English: Rebel Heart) is a Chilean telenovela produced and broadcast by Canal 13 from August 18 to December 16, 2009, starring Denise Rosenthal, Augusto Schuster, Luciana Echeverría, Ignacio Garmendia, Katty Kowaleczko, Fernando Kliche and Tomás Vidiella. It is based on the Argentine telenovela Rebelde Way. It is the first television series of Canal 13 recorded in high defintion format (720p) that was transmitted in the ISDB-T test signal in Santiago and its last chapters in the HD signal of the countrywide channel in VTR signal 813, since officially that signal was inaugurated for the whole country on November 14, 2009 and also at the same time use widescreen format that was broadcast in both HD and SD formats.[1][2][3]
Synopsis
Four guys with strong personalities: Martina (Denise Rosenthal), Pablo (Augusto Schuster), Cote (Luciana Echeverría) and Manuel (Ignacio Garmendia), who in turn are natural leaders, lead the other students to choose which side they are on. All of them have both good and bad qualities, and each one wants to impose their way of thinking, giving rise to friendship, honor, hatred, love, loyalty, and even betrayal.
This group of teenagers will discover that they have more in common than they imagined, they are united by the same passion and can forget their problems through music; but their parents and even the school principal are opposed to somehow fulfilling their dreams.
