Ed Foley Sr. is a former American football quarterback who played for the Boston College Eagles from 1963 to 1965. He finished his BC career with 129 completions in 263 attempts (49.1%), 1916 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. [1]

He and his wife had four sons who would become college athletes; Glenn, a Boston College quarterback who spent six seasons in the NFL; Ed Jr., an offensive lineman at Bucknell who would become a college football coach; Cliff, a first baseman at Villanova; and Kevin, a quarterback for the Boston University Terriers and Maryland Terrapins.[2]
