Police Rugby League

It has been suggested that you may be able to offer me some advice or assistance with a page I created on Police Rugby League in Victoria. It was deleted shortly after creation even though in my opinion it is notable enough to remain on the site and no different to many other sports related pages. Please see my talk page for more information if you can help. Thanks.VPRLC 01:45, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, but it looks bleak as far as notability goes. Perhaps a general Police Sports article will be OK with the info inside it. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 03:44, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have replied to your comments on my page. ThanksVPRLC 03:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you could go and nominate the other page for deletion with {{afd}}. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 05:28, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

May I pl. request you?

Someone suggested to approach you for content war and edit wars on Hinduism. Though, it may not be proper for me to tell you to go through talk pages of Hinduism, I am inclined to urge you to do so considering voluminous nature of discussion. The same would give you a good picture of problems.

If you could be of help in the matter, I shall feel grateful to you.

swadhyayee 03:53, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What is the problem exactly? Blnguyen (bananabucket) 04:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article monopolised. Edits not alllowed. Lobbying to get supports to a person, not to merits. Irrelevant not allowed to be removed. All un-ethical means adopted to have the article one's way. Just regd. Wikipedians come straight to Hinduism, support and praise the person/article. Just regd. Wikipedians get invitation to discuss on Hinduism and they drop in to support! swadhyayee 07:42, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you talking about Opiner of HeBhagawan - I'm surprised to find that this is the only religion for which I had forgotten to watchlist. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 07:54, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No RamRamji around 7th or 8th Oct. & Nina (NinzEliza ?) on 8th - 9th Nov. or so. swadhyayee 15:54, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Right now, it's my inclination that this project can benefit more from me doing other things. I appreciate the note very much though - thank you for that. On other things, you and I need to catch up. I have not seen you around since September! --HappyCamper 05:21, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DYK

I did, yes, thanks. The Lilburn I'm afraid I'm going to have to let slide for now, as the only resource I have is the CD booklet. The Yakunchikova I'd be happy to do if I could just find the damn book I had with a nice little article on her - much more substantial than what I had to go on when I wrote the page.

'Course, it would help if I could translate the Russian page... --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 02:16, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I might just pick it anyway. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 05:28, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a tool..

Any idea, whether Wikipedia has a tool to find out which article was read by whom and for what duration (naturally no one can say whether the viewer read or not but spend time of the page)?

swadhyayee 02:30, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No it doesn't. You can't spy on people LOL Blnguyen (bananabucket) 05:28, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nero - ???

Hey, you seem like a level headed guy. Would you be able to swing by the Nero talk page & see what's going on with the people who keep reverting my edits. I've never come accross this opposition before especially when I've got a citation & my edits are great! Maybe you can come to a solution. Thanks for your kind words. I'm fine for the momento anyway, but your words really cheered me up... :) Spawn Man 04:35, 10 November 2006 (UTC). BTW, What if Sango's dead!!!?? We would never know! OMG! Prods

Hi, have been cleaning up the Perth western suburbs articles all day, and ended up coming up with a new {{Perth western suburbs}} template to replace {{City of Nedlands suburbs}}, {{City of Subiaco suburbs}} and {{Town of Cambridge suburbs}}, adding in the numerous one-suburb-council suburbs that exist in that part of town. This was in part due to the duplication between the above three thanks to the joys of local political manoeuvrings. I have marked the above as AfD's - just thought I'd drop a note on your talk page out of courtesy and also to explain the reason :) Orderinchaos78 (t|c) 15:58, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I got around 120 votes, roughly 1/4 of what the winners got. I'm very pleased that I got that many, especially in what is no doubt the most conservative area in Adelaide.

Could you help

Tomananda is unfairly blocked. He exhausted his 3 reverts on this page but he did not violate the 3RR rule. I contacted the admin that blocked him the following is his response. What is more unfair is that Olaf Stephanos who had just as many reverts on that page was not blocked. Could you help unblock Tomananda?--Yueyuen 20:39, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3RR is not an entitlement to 3 reverts. Edit warring is prohibited. Also, the threshhold for information on Wikipedia is not truth, but verifiability; Wikipedia is not the place to reveal "the truth" except through reliable sources. Now that I checked out those new buttons I realize that I can unleash mutant monsters on unsuspecting articles or summon batteries of laser guns in their defense. The move button has now acquired special powers, and there's even a feature to roll back time. Re: 2 things

Hey there Blnguyen! Long time no see, I'm doing really well thanks, just got on holiday, what about you? As for Sango, I was on her talkpage a couple of weeks ago and noticed she wasn't around, but I assumed she was just busy, if she still isn't replying to e-mails, that's quite worrying, I hope everything is alright... :S Thanks for letting me know though. Other thing, as far as I know, the Indian cricket team is coming to Cape Town on the tour, in fact I was considering going to watch them at Newlands. Unfortunately, one cannot get near the nets when there isn't a match on, and people are generally not allowed in during training. :( If I'm there at some stage I'll see if I can snap some shots, but I'm not optimistic I'm afraid. Nice to hear from you, sorry I couldn't be of more help. All the best -- Banes 19:14, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
