Aruna Mohanty
Aruna Mohanty (born April 4, 1960) is an Odissi dancer and Guru. She is currently the Secretary of the Orissa Dance Academy.[1]
Early Life and Background
Guru Aruna Mohanty was born in Bhubaneswar and was introduced to the performing arts by her father, and well known theatre personality Kamala Lochana Mohanty.[2] She began training in Odissi at the age of ten, and has trained primarily under Padmashree Guru Gangadhar Pradhan.[3]
