On June 7, 2018, it was announced that Netflix had greenlit a new [biographical]]-drama entitled Dolemite Is My Name about Rudy Ray Moore, the star of the blaxploitation Dolemite films. Eddie Murphy will star as Moore.[1]
Principal photography is set to begin on June 12, 2018.[2]
