Joseph R. Ianniello is the Chief Operating Officer of CBS Corporation [1][2]. His employment agreement with CBS runs through 6/30/22 [3] [4][5]. Before he was named COO in 2013, Ianniello served as CBS’s Chief Financial Officer for four years, where he was responsible for the company’s financial strategy across all of its operations. He was also a Director of Entercom Communications Corporation and Executive VP / Treasurer of CBS Radio Inc. [6] [7]

Ianniello earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration at Pace University, where he serves on the Board of Trustees. He also has an MBA from Columbia University[8]. He mentors students at both schools. [9] He serves on the Board of Directors of the charitable organization Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE)[10] as well as New Alternatives for Children[11]. In addition, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Public Accountants.

Ianniello is one of the 5 CBS Board Members who put together and submitted a bid to acquire Viacom, and under the proposal, Ianniello will remain COO of the combined company. [12]
