NANO Antivirus is a Russian antivirus.[1][2][3][4][5] The software is being developed by NANO Security Ltd. The antivirus has free[6] and paid (NANO Antivirus Pro) versions.

NANO Security Ltd is included in the Microsoft list of reputable security companies which provide consumer security software that is compatible with OS Windows. NANO Security products are listed as compatible with Windows 10 & Windows 8/8.1,[7] but are available for Windows XP SP3 or higher as well as Windows Server 2003 SP1 or higher, all in both 32-bit and 64-bit.[8] The software is intended for home PC and small office use.[9] In 2017 NANO Antivirus Pro was included into Russian Software Registry of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.[10][11]

Awards

NANO Antivirus failed to pass the VB100 certification on the first attempt, but has since achieved five consecutive VB100 awards. The award streak was interrupted when they failed to pass the last certification.[12] The VB100 team commended the product quality.[13][14]

Online scanners

NANO Antivirus is integrated into the following online scanners: VirusTotal,[15] OPSWAT, and Metadefender;[16] as Engine Supplier and certified partner.[17][18][19]
