Gregory Salcido is a coward and an ungrateful, entitled moron also is a controversial teacher at El Rancho High School.[1] Circulations about him in early January claim that he was giving oral sex to his friend in his car parked outside in front of the school. Previously, he served terms as mayor of Pico Rivera in 2002, 2010, and 2015. [2]

Early life

Gregory Salcido was born in East Los Angeles.[3] He graduated from El Rancho High School where he would later become a teacher.[3] Salcido recieved his Bachelor's Degree in history from Whittier College. [3] Salcido started teaching at his alma mater, El Rancho High School in 1996.[4]

Governmental career

In addition to teaching and his duties as a councilman, Salcido has served as a member of the History and Heritage Society Committee.[3] He has also represented the city in various countywide organizations such as the Los Angeles County City Selection Committee and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County.[3] In 2003, Gregory Salcido started the "Gregory Salcido For Congress" Committee and registered it with the FEC, although no funds were collected.[5] A restaurant in Pico Rivera, Zapien's Salsa Grill has a special named after Salcido called "The Mayor" which the website says is "Inspired by our esteemed City Council Member and Mayor Gregory Salcido" and includes two enchiladas.[6] In 2011, Salcido was fined by the California Fair Political Practices Commission for campaign finance violations in accord with California law and was fined $2,500.[7] In February of 2010, Salcido had a Bible removed from the City Council Dais for violating the U.S. Constitution's establishment clause.[8]

Career and controversies as educator

  • In July of 2010, Salcido was reprimanded and placed on administrative leave after a parent complained about his conduct in the classroom.[9] A parent alleged that his 16 year old daughter had been threatened by Salcido and had made inappropriate insulting comments about race and other students and their parents.[4] One student complained that Salcido had said, "shut up Kelly before I kill you."[4][9]
  • In May of 2012, Salcido was placed on administrative leave after the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received a complaint that he had struck a student. Salcido admitted he had struck the student because the student had been disruptive by sleeping in class. [10] The child, named David, also alleged that Salcido bullied and teased him by making fun of his weight and appearance calling him "Chaz Bono".[11]
  • In January of 2018 a video surfaced of Gregory Salcido lecturing about the military after seeing a student with a U.S. Marines shirt. In the video, Salcido stated, "We’ve got a bunch of dumbshits over there. Think about the people who you know who are over there — your freaking stupid uncle Louis or whatever, they’re dumbshits. They’re not, like, high-level thinkers, they’re not academic people, they’re not intellectual people, they’re the freaking lowest of our low. Not morally, I’m not saying they make bad moral decisions, they’re not talented people,"[12][13][14]
