Pzazz

Pzazz are a group of young Irish sopranos.1
They have released one single, "Daughter of Connolly", which is to be used as the theme song for the upcoming movie "Connolly", a film about James Connolly.
The girls are:
Claire Halligan,
Fiona McManus,
Mary Frances Loughran,
Aoife Nic Ardghail.3
The group was exceptional in that they were not placed together by a reality TV contest. Rather, each of the girls were already trained sopranos. Each of them already had impressive experience, with Claire and Fiona previously appearing on TV, Mary-Frances appearing in a number of stage plays and appearing in a local band and Aoife who was a model and is currently recording a TV show.
Pzazz completed their national tour of Ireland in late December 2005 / January 2006. They received a considerable amount of media attention in Ireland around April/May 2006, when they appeared on several magazines ("the Star", "News of the World"), newspapers ("The Irish Times"), national radio (RTE with Tom McGurk2), and television (RTE's "Nationwide").
