Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Aaliyah (album), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 17:57, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Compositions (Anita Baker album), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 00:49, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at The Voice Within, you may be blocked from editing. Per Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources, we only use AllMusic prose reviews, not genre tabs. Binksternet (talk) 06:22, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at MTV Unplugged No. 2.0, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Dan56 (talk) 00:09, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You were warned about those specific changes after your revision to Aaliyah (album) last month, yet your edit history shows you've continued making the same changes, which are not fixes. Template:Infobox album#Genre clearly states to delineate genres using commas. Dan56 (talk) 00:25, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Album notability

Hi,

I noticed you created some articles for a few albums. Thanks for adding to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, none of them look to make any claim to notability. Please see the criteria for articles about albums here: WP:NALBUM. In brief, unless if wins a major award or has major chart success, there must be significant coverage in multiple reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Otherwise, they'll have to be redirected to the artist page. To be specific, I'm referring to Transient (album), Free (Lisa Shaw album), and Cherry (Lisa Shaw album). — Rhododendrites talk \\ 15:01, 9 November 2015 (UTC) [reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. 123.136.106.97 (talk) 04:51, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

Please be careful about putting a category into both a subcategory and its parent when the goal of the child is to diffuse the parent in the first place. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 22:57, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sade and jazz

You might want to take a look at the Talk Page for Sade (singer) and Sade (band). There will be some posts about whether this band should be classified as jazz.
