Holy Rosary Academy, Anchorage, Alaska, is a Catholic independent school for grades K-12. The Academy was founded in 1987 by a group of Catholic parents in Anchorage who desired a school where a sound education in the Faith would be an essential part of their children’s academic progress. It has grown from a small student body of just eighteen students to now more than 150 in grades K-12. It has been recognized for two years running as one of the top 50 Catholic high schools in the country (Catholic High School Honor Roll, 2004, 2005).

Holy Rosary Academy has won accreditation through the National Association of Private Catholic Independent Schools in 2004. In that same year the faculty entered the Association’s Program of Certification for Catholic Teachers.
