M. Abdul Lathief

M. Abdul Lathief, also spelled M. Abdul Latheef, is an Indian politician who has been chairman of Tamil Nadu Wakf board[1] and a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Tamil Nadu.

Lathief was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Vaniyambadi constituency as an independent candidate in 1971[2] and 1977.[3] He won the same seat as a candidate of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in 1996[4] and in 2001 elections again won it as an independent.[5] He also won the Chepauk constituency as a DMK candidate in 1989.[6]
