what the...? no. 2

"Owing to urban development and relatively good infrastructure, Joinville has become a major center for events and business conferences. The city has one of the highest standards of living in Brazil."

"RELATIVELY GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE"????????? Can we really say that a city where less than 10%% of households are connected to the sewer system has "relatively good infrastructure"????

what the...?

"its population was approximately 500,000, the majority of whom are of German descent" what kind of phrasing if that —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.102.80.120 (talk) 17:49, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

where is everyone?

this article needs some serious editing... whey are people not discussing anything? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.102.80.120 (talk) 17:47, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Skyline"

I suggest the article's head picture be replaced by the one that is now in the Portuguese version of it. It is arguably prettier (...). The one in present use is a bit dull due perhaps to the white sky. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.44.192.212 (talk) 17:08, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikify

This article should be wikified. The infobox should be removed and replaced with a infobox-template and the lists should be changed to normal text. "Other" looks like a trivia section. It should be deleted and its contents moved to other sections. Admiral Norton 18:29, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Decimals

The numbers in this article use the South American decimal system (i.e. five thousand is written as 5.000 and one and one half is written as 1,5) which fits an article about a South American city, but doesn't conform with the other articles of the English edition of Wikipedia. I'm going to go ahead and change all these numbers to the English system. Danberbro (talk) 01:19, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Population

Population of "Metropolitan" area is not correct and also reference doesn't match with information provided . I had to remove the sentence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.193.15.210 (talk) 23:58, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
