Super Bock Super Rock is a rock festival in Portugal, created in 1994. It has become one of the biggest festivals in the country, luring many rock and metal fans. Since its foundation, many famous artists have played at the festival. The festival has also changed location many times. It is named after its principal sponsor, Super Bock beer.

The 14th edition of Super Bock Super Rock was held in July 2008, with a similar format as in 1999 and 2003, i.e. in different cities.
It was held in Lisbon and in Porto. In Porto, the festival was on 4 and 5 July, while in Lisbon it was on 9 and 10 July.[1]

There are 3 positions in the festival for winners of the "Super Bock Super Rock Preload Competition". These bands win by gaining more votes from the public.[8]
