Onno Ruding

Herman Onno Christiaan Rudolf Ruding (born 15 August 1939, Breda) is a former Dutch banker and politician. He is a member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA).[1]

From 1977 till 1980 Ruding was executive director of the International Monetary Fund.[1] He was Minister of Finance from 1982 till 1989[2] and known for his sharp budget cuts.[citation needed]
