Laindon is railway station located in Laindon in the Basildon district of Essex, England.
The station was opened in 1888 by the London Tilbury and Southend Railway as part of a new direct route from Barking to Pitsea, avoiding Tilbury. It is located 22.86 mi (36.79 km) down the line from Fenchurch Street. The station and all train services are operated by c2c.
The station has three platforms. Platform 3 is the Shoeburyness-bound platform, reached from Station Approach via the main ticket office. Platforms 1 and 2 are the two faces of an island platform, reached via a footbridge from outside the main ticket office. Platform 1 is the London-bound platform and platform 2 is a reversing platform which can be used to divert trains from the Up Line to the Down Line.
Trivia
British actress Joan Sims, famous for her roles in the Carry On films, was once a resident at Laindon railway station. A plaque in her memory can be seen near the entrance.
Ticket Office
The main ticket office is located on Station Approach. It has two serving positions and is open Monday - Friday 05.15 - 22.00 and Saturday and Sunday 06.15 - 21.00.
A second, smaller, ticket office is located at the bottom of the stairs that lead to the island platform. This office is open Monday - Friday only 06.15 - 11.00 and 15.45 -19.00

Laindon station is served solely by c2c trains heading inbound to Fenchurch Street railway station in central London and outbound to Shoeburyness in eastern Essex.

- 4 trains per hour to London Fenchurch Street. On Sundays there are 2 trains per hour to London Fenchurch Street.
- 4 trains per hour to Shoeburyness via Basildon. On Sundays there are 2 trains per hour to Shoeburyness.
Connections
During peak hours it serves as the eastern terminus of services from Fenchurch Street. Laindon is between West Horndon railway station and Basildon railway station.
