You need to finish the deletion nomination process. There's no place to discuss this. The template will be removed in 24 hours, if you don't complete it. Thanks. — Wyliepedia 03:18, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- The entire process was executed via automatic script through Twinkle. The article page is appropriately tagged (afd1), the discussion page exists and has content (afd2), and it's correctly placed in the log (afd3). The original author was also already notified. Can you be a little more specific about what the problem is? Entries from my contribs are as follows, and note the timestamp:
- 01:26, 10 November 2013 (diff | hist) . . (+1,101) . . User talk:WhisperToMe (Notification: listing at articles for deletion of Michael Glyn Brown. (TW))
- 01:26, 10 November 2013 (diff | hist) . . (+55) . . Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2013 November 10 (Adding Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Glyn Brown. (TW))
- 01:26, 10 November 2013 (diff | hist) . . (+401) . . Michael Glyn Brown (Nominated for deletion; see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Glyn Brown. (TW)) (current) [rollback: 1 edit]
- 01:26, 10 November 2013 (diff | hist) . . (+1,216) . . N Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Glyn Brown (Creating deletion discussion page for Michael Glyn Brown. (TW))
- For some reason, the discussion link is showing as a redlink, but yet, when clicked, takes you to it. At the time, I thought the process was incomplete. Sorry, carry on. — Wyliepedia 06:01, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
- No problem. That seems to have been the case every time I have done them, so it must be something related to Twinkle. MSJapan (talk) 16:02, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Carly Colón may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Red link reversion
I noticed just now that you reverted a red link I created, [1], and I wondered why you did that. Oliver was a prolific author on freemasonry, of over 20 books: see s:Oliver, George (1782-1867). He merits an article, and the red link was well within Wikipedia:Red link. Charles Matthews (talk) 05:46, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- It apparently made such a difference that it took you 2.5 years to notice it. If he merits an article, write it - nobody has done so in either Wikipedia's ten-year history or the 2.5 years since I reverted that link; I'd say, therefore, that an article was not "created soon". The editing guideline you cited states very clearly that there is an additional guideline in its introduction, called "Write the article first". Further along in that guideline, it says "red links to personal names should be avoided". So, in fact, my reversion was entirely correct in hindsight, wasn't it? MSJapan (talk) 18:27, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
First, please be civil. We are, after all, colleagues, and I asked you a question for information. WP:WTAF does not apply here, and is an essay only, not a guideline, about list pages, disambiguation pages, templates, see also sections.
There are still over 8000 articles in the Dictionary of the National Biography to add: there were many more then, and they don't get done overnight. To quote again: "Good red links help Wikipedia—they encourage new contributors in useful directions, and remind us that Wikipedia is far from finished." WP:WP DNB is possibly the largest of the missing article projects. It would not be particularly easy to find that reference to George Oliver again: it was surname only. I presume that is why it seemed worthwhile to me to link it, once I identified it.
Second, your temporal argument is flawed, given that removing the link instantly is not the way to get any article created, is it? The link was piped, and there was no BLP issue to be concerned about there. The rationale you cite does not apply in any very telling way.
I have your reason, then, which is that you reverted without comment, as a minor edit, three hours later, because you felt the guideline justified so doing. From my point of view it didn't; and if I had created the article in the short or medium term, in fact half a day later, the reversion would have been a negative.
