Ramón Báez Romano is a businessman, politician and sportsman of the Dominican Republic. Coming from one of the most influential families in the Dominican Republic,[1][2] he was Minister of Industry and Trade during the administration of President Antonio Guzmán.[3] He was CEO of Rosario Dominicana, Baninter, and Listín Diario, among others.

Báez is a descendant of Spanish conquistador Rodrigo de Bastidas,[4][5] the Jesuit priest and historian Antonio Sánchez Valverde,[6] and the Dominican presidents Buenaventura Báez and Ramón Báez.[1]
