Allan Brown (1926 - ) was an Scottish footballer and manager.

Playing Career

Allan Brown started his playing career at East Fife. There he represented Scotland in the 1949/50 season winning 3 caps and scoring in each game against (see 1949-50 in Scottish football), the same season that East Fife won the Scottish League Cup. Allan was transfered to Blackpool, where he missed both the 1951 and 1953 FA Cup finals due to injury, and then onto Luton Town where he was a member of the 1959 F.A. Cup final team. Managing Career

In 1964 Allan Brown replaced Johnny Ball as the player/manager of then non-league Wigan Athletic. He then moved on to manage Blackpool and Luton Town before returning to Blackpool in 1981 replacing Alan Ball.
