Benedict Grant Noakes

Benedict Grant Noakes was born in 1965. He is the son of the artist and portrait painter Michael Noakes, and the writer Vivien Noakes.[1] After Eton College, he worked for several years as an independent television producer, during which time he produced and directed a large number of films for the BBC and Granada Television. He is now Director of the Albert Schweitzer Institute (UK) and a writer.[2]

A friend of Paul McCartney and Heather Mills,[3] his phone was allegedly hacked on numerous occasions by Glenn Mulcaire at the time of the McCartneys' divorce in 2006. He is one of 46 claimants who brought a claim for compensation against Mulcaire and News International in April 2012.[4]
