Gadaffi Mosque is the second largest mosque in East Africa after the Uganda National Mosque. It is located in the Tanzanian capital of Dodoma. Funds for its construction were provided by the former Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi through the World Islamic Call Society. It was inaugurated by President Jakaya Kikwete in 2010 and has a capacity for at least 3,000 worshippers.[1]
