The Reformed Presbyterian Church in North East India was established in 1835 by American missionaries like Rev. James R. Campbell. He started work in Saharanpur. Later Rev. Watkins R. Robert came to Mizoram in 1907. It is officially organised in 1979. It had 4,200 members and 50 congrgarions in 2004. Now has 15,000 members and more than 120 congregations. There are no women ordination. It accepts the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Westminster Shorter Catechism and Westminster Larger Cathecism.[1][2] It is a member of the World Communion of Reformed ChurchesCite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).
