Hawa Abdulrahman Ghasia is a Tanzanian politician. She is Minister of State in the President's Office for Public Service and Management and a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of Tanzania.
Ghasia was nominated as the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) candidate for Mtwara Rural District in the 2005 parliamentary election,[1] receiving 529 votes and defeating four other candidates for the nomination, including Juma Chinavati with 372 votes and incumbent Abdillahi Namkulala with 135 votes.[2]
Following the election, she was appointed as Minister of State in the President's Office for Public Service and Management on January 4, 2006;[3] she remained in that position in the Cabinet named on February 12, 2008.[4][5]
