The Revivalry refers to the football rivalry between the teams of the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs and the Baylor University Bears, particularly in football. The name "The Revivalry" derives from the fact that both schools are Christian schools sponsored by evangelical denominations that hold "revival" meetings and also that both schools began in Waco as competing institutions (TCU was originally Ad-Ran College in Waco before moving to Fort Worth after the original Waco campus burned down). The Revivalry is one of the oldest and most played in the history of college football, with the current record even at 51-51-7. It was revived as an annual event when TCU joined many of their fellow former Southwest Conference members in the Big 12 in 2012.
