Thankyou User: Trusilver (talk | contribs) ;-) I cannot remember all the extremely rambling (verbose) stuff that I had in here-- ? And so i will go with the flow. As this is the OLD (after) signbot entry -- when sinbot "reminded" me (again) to use those tiddlees thingies .. that took me MONTHS to find .. (above the tab/tab back button) But don't worry "sinbot" -- I will still even now -- "often" ? Simply forget to use them ;-) And thus slam them "in" wherever poss .?. when remembering them ? such as like this QUIX4U (talk) 01:30, 7 October 2011 (UTC) Which "actually" works for me (if not for the hundreds of "admin_thumb_plugz" anyway); as it's my way of tossing the "Trusilver Mop". Anyways: the current version was ok .. until I squirted this in here.. but -- as it IS my talk page .. no wukin furries eh? ;-) Thus we'll stick with the current revision of this page, as edited by Trusilver (talk | contribs) at 16:57, 6 October 2011.

Delica
The Delica was sold as the Colt T120 in export markets such as NZ. This is mentioned in the article, repeatedly. "Delica" is the name used in the Japanese market, and since export versions have been sold under a plethora of various badges, it is also the name of the article. I would be very excited if you could provide Wikipedia with a decent photo of your Colt T120 truck. Cheers, ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 17:29, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
SEVERAL. I put them on Wikia Tractors.. But for dome stupid reason .. Bulldozer?whatever.. That wiki's creator.. MADE the uploader so complicated.. I appearently DID NOT "put" the correct information there (if it was even available to do).. For the copyright classification.. SO..?
I've just had to go back & reboot the
This template should only be used on file (image) pages. For other permissions, please use Ticket confirmation. clissifications.. to ALL of my original photo's that I scanned into my PC on the day I uploaded them there.
BUT SOME HAVE SINCE BEEN DELETED from their uploaded files page.
God knows where the original uploads went to .. But at least i have re-edited the mainpage with it's CORRECTED copyright licence "thingies".. Now shown witht the "caption added as:
(Original caption ) + .....
ALL those photos there of My (Mitsubishi) 1978 Colt flatdeck TRUCK & of my 1996 Delica Starwagon Are still on the mainpage: Over on: http://tractors.wikia.com/wiki/Mitsubishi_pickup_trucks
Hope that's enough (of my) pictures for you too. Unless you want the videos also.. As they're (somewhere amongst the other 300) on my youtube ch at 1 QUIX4U (talk) 23:43, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
P.s.. Over on the "special" page of Pictorial Photo's and Maintenance Manual Pages Scans - for that model & yr of COLT "truck") The page that I (myself) created at: 2
THE VERY FIRST PHOTO .. shows not only my "1978 Mitsubishi Colt L200" but my 1996 Mitsubishi Delica (as well)
THE VERY SAME DELICA.. (as shown recently) ..
With a 1964 Austion Mini Moke.

- Ah, I don't know how things work on Wikia, so I can't help you there. I found your shots, but since none of them are bigger than 360 pixels wide they won't do much good in Wikipedia. I would recommend uploading it to the Commons, that way contributors all across the world (and in any language) could also use your photos. If you need any help, I will be glad to. ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 04:57, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

Oh & it's CENTRAL OTAGO (not just Otago) ..
But I doubt if Wikipedia would know that HUGE difference..

- The template in question is located here: Template:User Otago. The rest you're going to have to figure out for yourself, best of luck. I would recommend starting a sandbox in which you can play around. You can use whatever picture you want, as long as it is available in the Commons. ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 02:33, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- Woopee .. I did it I did...
- I remade the old into the new..
Now? How do I create the template page? Re: My question (and thus my delema) on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template_talk:User_Otago#Attempting_to_.22create.22_a_sub-page_of:_.22Template:_User_Central_Otago.2C_NZ.22 QUIX4U (talk) 17:12, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Retiring
THANKYOU. Yeah .. That may be the only way (however I have absolutely NO IDEA as to how to use that sandboc thing -- otherwise I would already have done that) .. Thus .. i sincerely doubt that it will happen.
Much the same as when a 'person" whom takes a physically present "photo" .. of a small LAKE somewhere deep in the centre of Central otago (my wife) gets to also discover .. SOME GOOGLE STYLE WORLD WIDE MAP SERVICES .. do not even HAVE the "lake" shown on the map they created .. let alone "let" people "select" the town that's beside it (where the photo was taken -- side issue same result) .. Thus: I won't bother wasting any MORE of my own valuable time .. trying to "make" something .. that should have been there when the site was first built. Au revoir.. QUIX4U (talk) 04:24, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- You are a funny one, probably one of the weirdest characters I have yet encountered on wikipedia. Anything that exist here is created by people like you and I. I went and found an existing template and modified it to become the User:Otago job. I provided you with a link to the page in question, now just make it work. To help you along, I am creating a sandbox page for you here (also linked at the top of your userpage), with the template parameters already installed. Now you have to find a suitable picture, and then change the text and so on - colors are more complicated but I can help you with that. And again, I would love it if you could upload a front 3/4 view of your beautiful T120 truck.
- Also, I fixed your userpage troubles and your "face" is now the rear view of the T120. As for your Google map issues, I don't understand a thing of what you are trying to say. Cheers, ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 06:16, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- About that "stills" 3/4 frontal photo.. ? Yes I suppose I could do one..
But with the current A_Frame on the front with the additional (Extended loads) Over-roof framework .. I seriously doubt if it wouldn't be any better than the one's already on Wikia.Tractors. ... re: (4)
But hey here's an idea..
Why don't I load up the video memory on the cellphone, when I take that COLT out for a spin (onto the farm) the next time I tow the COLT via it's A_Frame
And then I can easily plonk it (that video) alongside all the other videos of various OLDIE cars & vintage machinery etc., that I have put there onto youtube re: (5)
Now there's an interesting thought .. because you'd not only SEE that -- but you'd also hear it running as well as watching it being driven around too.
Cheers. QUIX4U QUIX4U (talk) 06:03, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ah, yes, that A-frame is rather prominent. In any case, cellphone images aren't really of high enough quality to be of much use. But thanks. ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 06:06, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
? ALL of my (recent) photos are done via cellphone.. I have ONLY used "standard" (throwaway camera) photo positives - for the one's I took YEARS AGO - which are the one's I scanned (from that camera's 6x4 photos) for wikia tractors re: http://tractors.wikia.com/wiki/Mitsubishi_pickup_trucks
The videos that I make - also arrive via the SAME cellphone. I cannot see sufficient LOSS of quality in the videos that I have made in the last 4- 5 yrs for me to want to purchase anythng better.
(I currently have around 300 or so .mpeg4 videos on youtube ... some of which are in excess of an HOUR in running time "length").
I thus have absolutely NO DESIRE to purchase anything other than a throwaway camera --- and the cellphone is the ONLY camera that I forsee using on a daily basis -- for at least the next 4 - 5yrs.
Sadly .. that means ANY photo that I may make - probably won't be good enough for you.
That said. I suppose this ends our conversation.
Oh & P.s.. I changed my main page (last paragraph) in order to thankyou for transposing that photo from my info up onto my profile "as my face"..
Thankyou again.. Cheers. QUIX4U (talk) 06:21, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Re: Usable Photos
Um..
To: ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 6
I will go back & have a good look through some of my earlier "OLD FARM" photos (from pre- 2003) and see if I can't find a colour 6x 4 photo of the front RHS view (which I allowed the professional "printer" to use for a FLYER that I had made back in about 1998 / 1999).
It was taken from about a 45.degree angle (from the front) .. clearly showing not only the drivers door but the QUIX number plate & the front of the cab ... BEFORE that A_Frame assembly was welded to the truck.
Failing that -- I will see if the printer's still have a copy of that .jpg image (on their own files) ..
Or.. I will try getting the local Alexandra builder (whom has another one) to allow me to photograph his COLT (but it has a narrow "ute" box_body - unlike my "wide" flatdeck).
Cheers. QUIX4U (talk) 06:39, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- It all sounds great to me. Cheers, ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 08:42, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- :-)
I finally figured the easiest way -- andf that is simply to "paste" the entire codex for the captioned Central Otago, NZ "flag"
- ie:
This user is from the interior regions of the fatherland .. Deep inside OTAGO ... re: This user is actually - in "Central Otago", Otago, NZ
This user is from Central Otago, NZ. |
If you want -- you can even ?
Leave this part out when you post this entire harangue: <noinclude> </noinclude>
Also, your link still goes to Otago Region.
QUIX4U (talk) 17:23, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- I fixed the link, I would recommend going to the "history" button at the top of the page. Then you can compare the differences between edits and see what I did. ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 04:35, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ok ...
- But I may "still" just cut & paste the .html (long link codex) that I sent to myself via a cc email - so that I could quickly & simply "grab it" from my outlook express -- anytime I wanted to do that -- without having to "try" and remember where the templates thingies are.
Oh & look -- i have even discovered the NZ citizen (natural NZ'er) flag too .. so put that there somewhere also .. Oh & I thin k i may have made a complete monkey outa myself .. as i got a message that my "talk page' had been reverted .. by someone with a hyroglyphics for a username (it's apparently an asian picture sentence thing)
Anyway -- they wrote and asked.? WAS I DRUNK? Well -- that's areal thorny question to 'ask' someone whom DOESN'T actually drink ..
As i gave up all forms of Alcohol (by choice) away back in 1978. Anyways .. i suggested they "re-revert" the picture that you put in there.. Until i realised that it was the wikimedia usertalk page at wikicommons .. so finaly found .. that they had deleted a QUESTION .. that I had asked (in my usual extremely hard to read.. too fast typed .. dyslexic & austitically mish-mashed typo manner). Thus .. somewhere i gave credit to your "posting" of my lovely COLT T-120-Y "picture" on a page that has never had it there.. lol.
Ok ..Gota go- as it's almost time for the evening meal for me here now.
Cheers.. & Au revoir for now..
