Gandhian socialism is the branch of socialism based on theories of Gandhi. The theory is inspired from Hind Swaraj or Indian Home Rule written by Gandhi.

Decentralization of political and economical power , Skeptic approach towards technology and large scale idustrialization, Emphasis on Self Employment, Emphasis on self-reliance are the few features of Gandhian Socialism.

It is often forgotten that Mahatma Gandhi was not looking for for any theories but was searching for a truthful path, one that helped people live together with love and tolerance. Hind Swaraj is not a theory but an idea, an ideal. It is useful for those who want solutions for their lives, not for those looking to impose their ideas on other people.
