Hege Skjeie (born 15 May 1955) is a Norwegian political scientist and feminist. She is Professor of Political Science at the University of Oslo. Appointed in 2001, she is Norway's first female Professor of Political Science.[1]In 2010, she was appointed chairperson of the Equality Commission, established by a Royal Decree of 12 February 2010 in order to report on Norway’s equality policies.[2][3][4]

She is a columnist for Dagens Næringsliv.
