Birkenhead Point

Birkenhead Point Drummoyne, The Outlet Centre is Sydney's largest Outlet centre Drummoyne, New South Wales, Australia. Notable stores include David Jones Warehouse [1], Oroton [2], Mimco [3], Charlie Brown [4], Witchery [5], Hugo Boss Factory Store [6], Alannah Hill [7] and many more.

Birkenhead Point also has a Coles Supermarket and a food court including Gloria Jean's and Subway. Late night shopping is available on Thursday nights, with all stores open until 7:30 pm, except Coles which is open until 10pm every night.

The centre is also home to a marina and apartment complex. Most of the centre is an open space to maximise the views of Sydney Harbour.

History

Prior to being redeveloped as a shopping centre, the historical site had been used as a brickworks, horse track and rubber factory. The rubber factory was closed in 1976 when the site was sold to David Jones to be redeveloped. [8]
