Yuanping {原平} is a county-level city in Shanxi, China. Yuanping is in central Shanxi, north of Taiyuan, and is the largest county-level city in the province.
Transportation
Yuanping is at the junction of the Beijing-Yuanping Railway and the Datong-Puzhou Railway.
