Resident vs Touring Show

As a followup discussion about the template redesign, what constitutes a resident vs touring show? For instance, Banana Shpeel played in a couple of theaters. Zarkana is scheduled to play in both NYC and Russia. Therefore I would consider those touring shows, not resident shows.
