G Data Software is a collection of anti-malware solutions by G Data Software, Inc. It was founded in Bochum, Germany in 1985 with the North American subsidiary currently located in Durham, North Carolina, U. S. A.[1] G Data is able to achieve higher detection rates than other products through the use of multiple scanning engines from Avast and BitDefender.[2] G Data provides several security products that are targeted at Home and Business markets.
