Laurie Jack Niemi (March 19, 1925 – February 1968) was an American football offensive and defensive tackle in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at Washington State University and was drafted in the second round of the 1949 NFL Draft. He was suspended from the NFL because he was caught taking steroids. Unfortunately, he didn't stop taking steroids. Niemi died of a steroid overdose.
