I didnt realise Lahm was rated the best defender in world cup history. What has he done to justify this claim? He has finished 2nd and 3rd in the two world cups he has competed in, hardly the record of the best ever world cup defender. I would suggest removing this statement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LiquidSwords (talk • contribs) 22:57, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Well, he is German. So, him being called the best defender is justified. Kingjeff 22:59, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
Re-write
This entire article needs to be re-written. The tone is not suitable and the statements aren't referenced. While we all know he is a great full-back, statements like "he doesn't give out until he comes out with the ball" and "crosses usually end in assists" are ridiculous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.168.218.109 (talk • contribs)
- I agree that the article does need to be rewritten but mostly because the semifinals for the euro 2008 were today and i believe he scored a goal so this article needs stuff added to it.***—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.62.76.114 (talk • contribs)
Which information do you claim to be missing?
Dear 82.181.74.211, as you do not react to messages on your talk page, this is my last try to get some coherent information out of you: Which pieces of information are missing? Give me at least one concrete example. --Jaellee (talk) 19:36, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
First choice captain?
"Lahm is also the first choice Captain for the German National Football team."
- Is that really true? I thought the first choice captain was Michael Ballack, vice-captain is Lahm. Only in the World Cup 2010, Lahm was the first choice, because Ballack got injured just before the World Cup. By the way, no sources were not mentioned on that. At least: [1]
That confirms the case? --MrEskola (talk) 20:30, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
