Leonel García

Leonel García (Born on January 27, 1975, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico) is an Argentinian singer, musician and singer-songwriter. He is experienced chart-topping success as part of the duo Sin Bandera until he and fellow singer-songwriter Noel Schajris concluded their partnership in 2007.[1] Son of tampiqueños parents, discovers own great talent to write songs and a privileged voice early. In the 90s, he began to compose and direct young artists like Lynda, Kan and Ernesto D'Alessio. In 2000 signs with Sony Music label, at that time Sony BMG, where meet to Noel Schajris, to form duo Sin Bandera. Leonel he has composed many songs for many artists. Artists like Thalia, Alejandro Fernández, Ha-Ash, Moderatto, Paty Cantú, among many others, they consider him their composer header.

Solo career

After the disintegration Leonel decides to launch his solo music album called "L.P", called so for León Polar, his stage name as a solo artist. His first single was Miedo ("Fear"), followed for Déjalo ("Let It") and last third single Aún ("Yet").

His biggest musical influence is in folk.

In 2010 he began to compose songs for his new album and late April began recording what will be his second album as a soloist.

Also in 2010 has written songs for Playa Limbo and Paty Cantu. On August 17 came out their first single "Eras Tú" ("Was You") from their second "" disc produced by successful Aureo Baqueiro. The album will be released in October. With this new phase, Leonel would leave the pseudonym "León Polar" to be known just as Leonel García.[5]
