Pattada (Sardinian: Patàda, Pathàda) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 150 km north of Cagliari and about 50 km southeast of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,434 and an area of 164.9 km².[3] It's famous for the production of Sardinian knives named "Resolzas". Most recently, some local luthiers gained a good reputation for their products, mostly violins.

Many Pattadese are engaged in the production of Pecorino Sardo cheese and most of the surrounding countryside is largely pastures. Sheep are raised for milk, and the milk is made into cheese at the local co-operative. Much of this cheese is sold in the United States as Pecorino Romano. Other agricultural products include olives, cork, lamb and pork.

The municipality of Pattada contains the frazione (subdivision) Bantìne.

Pattada borders the following municipalities: Benetutti, Buddusò (now included in the Province of Olbia-Tèmpio), Bultei, Nughedu San Nicolò, Nule, Oschiri (now included in the Province of Olbia-Tèmpio), Osidda (included in the Province of Nùoro), Ozieri.
