Just letting you know that this matter has come up at OTRS under OTRS:4480977, due to the reverts. I've been explaining to them that they need to be more neutral, and I think the recent edits are an improvement. May I ask that you work with them rather than reverting again if you are dealing with the article? Stifle (talk) 12:01, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- I've started a discussion on the talk page, but the material that is being re-inserted is almost unsalvagable. It reads like a press release/advertisement. TNXMan 12:59, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Totally agree with Tnxman307. The page is being edited like an advert. Reverting is mandatory. The magazine publisher/editor has edited under their own name and not responded to any comments on their talk page: User talk:Cherie Federico. They now seem to be editing as an IP with again no dialogue whatsoever: User talk:87.127.0.106. It's impossible to work with people unless they work with us. Material is being used inaccurately.[1] Ty 14:00, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- I've emailed you some articles about Aesthetica. I can't find them online. They are available on Newsuk, accessible free with the barcode of some UK library cards. If you want the text on a word doc, let me know your direct email. Ty 14:03, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you. I will check them out later this evening, as I cannot readily access my email from where I am now. Cheers! TNXMan 14:36, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- Did you get the articles OK? Ty 23:46, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I did. I apologize for being tardy with my response, I replied to your earlier post, got pulled away by different RL things, and haven't had a chance to look at the things you sent me. I have read them now and they all look like excellent sources. They can be added to the article (probably using {{cite news}}). The only hangup I see is that the sources tend to drift from the magazine to the founder (Federico). Any included material should focus solely on the magazine. Thank you again for researching the material and if I can help in any way, please let me know. TNXMan 03:42, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Questionable Content
I noticed you added the "fansite" template to Questionable Content. I was wondering if you could share what specific concerns you had with the page, appreciate it thanks --TorriTorri(Talk to me!) 07:01, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
- Most of the material is only sourced to the website itself and mostly written from an in-universe perspective. I suppose the fansite tag isn't the most accurate one I could have added (and I'll remove it shortly), but I feel the Synopsis section and character descriptions need to be massively trimmed (or removed altogether), if they can't be sourced to a non-primary source. Accused of being a sock-puppet
I noticed that you were defending me from the sock-puppet accusations. I'm not 100% sure what this means and what it could do to my account and the page that I manage. I'm not understanding why I was accused of being a sock puppet... any idea? JoshinWinnipeg (talk) 00:50, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure either, but it's probably related to the similarity in usernames and the concurrent edits to the article (for why sockpuppetry isn't usually a good thing, check out this page). However, as I explained on the investigation page, I don't think you've done anything wrong. TNXMan 01:34, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Energy For Opportunity (EFO)
Hi Tnxman307,
I have found a few other reliable sources for the Energy For Opportunity (EFO) entry (since we last batted it around), and would like to move it to mainpage. The latest sources are regarding the situation in Haiti.
Before moving it to mainpage however, I'd appreciate your thoughts. Here is the link: Special:MyPage/Energy For Opportunity (EFO)
Hope you enjoyed your weekend,

Coldwater Jane
Just letting you know that I created a new article at Coldwater Jane with sources asserting notability. Just out of curiosity, what did the old version look like? Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 03:49, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- "Coldwater Jane is a Country Music duo based out of Nashville,TN. Their first single "Bring on the love" was released in January of 10'.". The new one looks a lot better, though. Cheers! TNXMan 13:01, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- Wow. There's lazy and then there's not even trying. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 17:28, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- Too true. TNXMan 17:40, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Emerald Data Solutions
Hi, I created the Emerald Data Solutions page. It was deleted on Feb. 20.
I still don't understand why. The sources were notable - third party online news sources. Also, another editor wrote a comments about the following sentence - "Emerald Data Solutions develops and markets BoardDocs Paperless Governance Solutions." This editor said it was not written in adequate English. Does this person not understand the term "governance" - and if he does, what in the world in this sentence does he consider inadequate? BoardDocs is a service - there is no mis-representation here.
Also, I compared my article to the following 'Schoolwires'. They were created identically. Why was mine deleted, yet there's remains? All feedback is appreciated! ChristenClegg (talk) 20:33, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) The page was deleted because the community discussion at WP:Articles for deletion/Emerald Data Solutions found there was not enough significant coverage in independent reliable sources to warrant inclusion of the article. As was mentioned to you on your talk page, press releases are not considered reliable sources. Please note that simply because a company exists, that does not mean they are notable enough to be on Wikipedia. As for the "adequate English", you would need to ask the person who posted that note. TNXMan 21:18, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
Rationale for deletion of Emerald Data Solutions
The article's only external references were press releases, which cannot be considered as verifiable and reliable sources because press releases are almost always authored and paid for by the subject of the articles or by their agents. No other reliable sources could be obtained to support the notability of the corporation. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 21:11, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
This is not the case. There are literally hundreds of governing bodies who have talked about paperless governance solutions in the press and are using such solutions to open governance. This is a huge issue right now. People nationwide are complaining about how the government won't provide access to information that affects its citizens/the public. This is exactly what eGovernance is all about - increasing transparency. I could provide more resources about eGovernance easily - if you looked for notable resources about the topic, you would have found hundreds and hundreds of discussions about it. ChristenClegg (talk) 13:54, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- All well and good, and the info can probably added to e-Government. However, it has nothing specifically to do with Emerald Data Solutions. TNXMan 14:17, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
A New Brain For Arnie
Just was wanting to get some info on my jam band up "A New Brain For Arnie", but this all seems to be very confusing, I dont think I put anything up that the other bands have not done....IM confused

Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Anewbrainforarnie (talk • contribs) 20:20, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- First of all, you should not be posting about any subject/group with which you have a conflict of interest. Secondly, please read our info on what makes a band notable enough to warrant inclusion. You may find our guide to writing your first article handy. TNXMan 20:21, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Troll
Hi, I'm going offline soon but there's a little speck of problem here. First off, I have never like trolls and their fiendish comment so I shall keep my peace and go around improving articles instead. But what would you done? Regards. --Dave ♠♣♥♦1185♪♫™ 21:50, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- Any time someone tries to troll or otherwise bait me, I just ignore it. Attention is what they want, so why give it to them? I hope it worked out for you. TNXMan 22:30, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Hello.
Hello, I was wondering if I would be able to get your help? I noticed that before, you have blocked this IP. It seems that the IP has returned and is seemingly vandalizing without comprehension of some of our rules here at Wikipedia. I was wondering, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, if you could possibly send this user a message as, I feel if I do it, it may come off as obnoxious. If you're able to help, thank you and you're not able to help, that's okay and I thank you anyway. Happy editing. --HELLØ ŦHERE 03:51, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sorry I've just got to your message, as the IP seems to have stopped. However, if they do resume vandalizing, please feel free to let me know or report them to WP:AIV. Thanks! TNXMan 22:29, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
