Zijdewind (West Frisian: Sidewind) (52°45′N 4°50′E / 52.750°N 4.833°E / 52.750; 4.833) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Niedorp, and lies about 8 km north of Heerhugowaard.

The statistical area "Zijdewind", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 310.[1]
