Merklín is a village and municipality (obec) in Plzeň-South District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 17 square kilometres (6.6 sq mi), and has a population of 1,035 (as at 3 July 2006).

Merklín lies approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) south-west of Plzeň and 106 km (66 mi) south-west of Prague.
