I'm Walkin'

"I'm Walkin'" is a 1957 single by Fats Domino. The single was Fats Domino's third release in a row to reach number one on the R&B Best Sellers chart where it stayed for six weeks. The single also continued Fats Domino's crossover appeal when "I'm Walkin'" peaked at number four on the pop singles chart^[1].

Notable Cover Versions

Later in 1957, Ricky Nelson performed the song on an episode of his parent's show, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet. Ricky Nelson's version was released as a single which reached number four one the pop singles chart and number ten on the R&B charts^[2].
