Banjo-Tooie
I'm sure you meant well, but 24.46.117.40 did actually have a point: some levels don't have train stations, so the bit about Cloud Cuckooland was misleading. just64helpin (talk) 04:25, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, I wasn't aware of that. We'll stick to your version then.--Atlan (talk) 12:10, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Who are you?
And why are you editing my user page?--Guru Larry (talk) 21:26, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- I'm User:Atlan, obviously. Per this, you cannot have copyrighted images in your user space. There are plenty of free images around, please choose one of those.--Atlan (talk) 21:32, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, Just read it, sorry about that!--Guru Larry (talk) 21:44, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- No problem at all.--Atlan (talk) 08:54, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Politics Interest
I noted that one of your user boxes is the politics interest box! So, did you follow what happened in Illinois yesterday? Edit Centric (talk) 09:15, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- I heard of it when I got up this morning. American state politics aren't really in my sphere of interest (being a Dutchman), but I got to admit this is interesting news! Blagojevich's got a lot of free time on his hands now! ;-) --Atlan (talk) 10:14, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much! :-) (I can claim that, I trace part of my bloodline through the Vierwinden name!) What I found extremely hillarious about the whole thing is the fact that, instead of defending (or trying, at least!) himself at his impeachment, he went on the talk show circuit! Then, only when he DOESN'T have to be under oath, does he make a statement to the impeachment tribunal, saying that he never had the chance to defend himself. Maybe if he spent less time with Barbara Walters on The View, he might not have been removed. Oh well...Edit Centric (talk) 10:51, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- I predict he'll write a book about it within the year. Why get impeached without cashing in on it, huh? :-) --Atlan (talk) 11:18, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Regarding this
Hello! Please note that I have begun adding out of universe context and respectfully hope you might reconsider. Thanks! Sincerely, --A NobodyMy talk 05:47, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the effort. It's definitely an improvement. However, I still don't believe the Horta needs a separate article. I think this added information would be well suited for The Devil in the Dark though. Consensus on the afd seems to be to redirect/merge to the episode article. Cheers, --Atlan (talk) 09:30, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Help with Google Chrome?
Hey, I've been unable to edit pages from Google Chrome while logged into my account, on both my laptop and my desktop. Do you know of any reason why this might be, or what's going on? TallNapoleon (talk) 20:06, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- That's odd, it shouldn't be a problem. Can you explain exactly what happens when you try to edit a page? Also, operating system, installed service packs and such would be useful for me to know.--Atlan (talk) 21:30, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I see the text come up in the edit box as normal--for about a quarter second. It then vanishes, so I'm left with a blank edit box. If I try to add anything it simply is not recorded this (I've tested this on Sandbox). It seems like a problem with Chrome specifically, as this problem exists on two separate computers, one running XP, the other Vista, and it's not an issue with Firefox. Oh, and if I'm not logged in it will let me edit. Really weird. TallNapoleon (talk) 23:31, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting... It means it's probably a preferences issue in Wikipedia. Could you try changing your preferences? Maybe change to default settings? If that doesn't work, set math to "Recommended for modern browsers". Let me know.--Atlan (talk) 23:40, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hmmm, the problem has mysteriously gone away. Thank you though. TallNapoleon (talk) 13:49, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- Weird. I'll stick to Internet Explorer. ;-) --Atlan (talk) 14:51, 19 February 2009 (UTC)\

FT's RfA
Actually, I added those to stop it from counting the oppose - it stopped it last time. — neuro(talk) 10:43, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well, it was still counting one oppose last I looked, so I removed it again. Anyway, the point is moot now that there's an actual oppose.--Atlan (talk) 10:45, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Since you'd just received a smile thought I'd give you a cookie as well. Thanks for cleaning up my talk page, for unknown reasons a lot of new users trying to leave messages for User:Themfromspace end up at my talk page, I guess it has something to do with the welcome I left on his talk page. Anyway, nice to have somebody out there noticing these things. Stardust8212 15:00, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I noticed that too and was wondering why you kept receiving messages meant for User:Themfromspace. At least now I know. Cheers and thanks for the cookie, --Atlan (talk) 15:06, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Re:Resident Evil
I've got my eye on the situation, they do seem to have reeled back somewhat after being warned on their respective talk pages. Although the current spate feels a bit WP:POINTy with the same source, it isn't on the exact same thing as before (if it was, they'd already be blocked), so I wouldn't feel confident giving a block at this precise moment. However, they are aren't that far off a earning a week-long block for editwarring and disruption, which would at the least allow the game to be released and end the speculation either way. We'll see how it progresses over the next few hours. I won't deny that its irritating that neither has attempted to discuss things civily on talk pages as request. -- Sabre (talk) 18:29, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Re:
I dont get what you mean, but when I said that, he was getting on my nerves so instead of cursing him out (I have a temper), I dont break the rules, so I just said that instead of nicely asking him to stop reverting. RkOrToN 22:55, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- And I didnt say that to you if that was what you meant, I said it to that other guy, not you ;) RkOrToN 22:57, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- No, I dont warn hard workers and good editors (such as you), unless I have proof they were breaking the rules. Thanks for getting him out of the way (At least for 24 hours) Cheers :) RkOrToN 23:21, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Resident Evil 5
Hey Atlan, I have not seen you in awhile. I noticed that you have not been editing the Resident Evil 5 page of lately. I guess you took a break around the right time; the article and discussion pages have been a breeding ground for edit wars and mindless arguments. I hope all is well. -- StarScream1007 ►Talk 22:01, 6 July 2009 (UTC) fuck you atlan. fuck you and your fucking bullshit. go suck some dick BITCH! Carmegenon (talk) 05:47, 12 July 2009 (UTC)carmegenon
