ISO 3166-2:BI

ISO 3166-2:BI is the entry in ISO 3166-2, part of the ISO 3166 standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which defines codes for the names of the principal subdivisions of Burundi (whose ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code is BI).
Currently 16 provinces are assigned codes.[note 1] Each code starts with BI-, followed by two letters.
