WAV is the audio format which used on Windows based system as a raw file.


WAV is a raw format/lossless format since it uses uncompressed method,which can keep all the signals of an audio, to achieve audio signal.Therefore,professional users or audio experts use WAV format to achieve audio.


But since the internet became popular,people not to use WAV to achieve audio as WAV needs many harddisk space.People use some lossy format,such as MP3 or OGG,to achieve audio for having a faster file transfer rate thought internet.


On the other hand,the "WAV" format on MAC system called AU
