Frontone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pesaro e Urbino in the Italian region Marche, located about 60 km west of Ancona and about 45 km southwest of Pesaro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,351 and an area of 36.0 km².[3]
Frontone borders the following municipalities: Cagli, Cantiano, Pergola, Scheggia e Pascelupo, Serra Sant'Abbondio.
